Application
Disc connector link is a type of isolator switch but is individual phase operated switch. Its operation is achieved by insulated operating rod. Disc connector link has been designed to suit in combined overhead underground network. It is installed at point of tapping from overhead line to underground cable. High standard performance and easy fault location are combined with low installation cost and safety from mischievous operation makes the disc connector link best suitable for overhead network used in high-density urban situation.
Construction The Disconnector link have single pole construction and shall be suitable for Vertical / Horizontal mounting. Each pole consist of galvanized steel base, insulators of reputed make, copper alloy male and female contacts. Ferrous parts are Hot dip galvanized and non-ferrous parts are heavily tinned. Jumper is of EC grade braided copper of appropriate size to complete the current path. Operation For smooth, sturdy and trouble free operation, Operating Clamp is provided on moving blade to operate the link on and off from ground level. This operation is achive by insulated operating or discharge rod.
Installation It can be mount vertically and horizontally on 2 nos. channels based on two-pole structure. Install phase of Disconnector link on structure as per system requirment, make the termination by using aluminium lug and simply charge it. TECHNICAL PERTICULARS :
